Established first team stars will be on show when Super League side Widnes Vikings RLFC take on Kingstone Press League One side Whitehaven in a friendly match on Friday, January 12 at the Halton Stadium.
The Vikings will be looking to create a fantastic atmosphere, with a number of new faces set to make their debut.
The club says it is the perfect opportunity for fans to show their support as Super League 23 edges ever closer.
Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and £5 for juniors. Executive seating will also be available at just £20 for adult or £15 for juniors, including a free meal.
Vikings’ aim is to open both the South Stand and Pat Price Stand for the fixture, but a decision on this will only be made based on pre-sale figures.
Due to the operational necessities required to host a match-day, the South Stand will be open to both Vikings and Whitehaven supporters.
The Club will confirm the opening of the Pat Price Stand (North Stand) if a minimum of 500 pre-sale tickets are sold for the Stand by the end-of-play on Tuesday, January 9.
Following this deadline, ticket prices will increase to £15 for adults, £12 for concessions and £8 for juniors, with these prices maintained on matchday.
Vikings new star, Krisnan Inu, is eagerly anticipating his first run-out in front of the black-and-white faithful.
Krisnan said: “I’ve played at the Halton Stadium a number of times in the past and the atmosphere has always been magnificent from the Widnes Vikings supporters. I’m really excited to be to have the opportunity to step out for the home team, and I am sure that the prices on offer for this fixture help build a huge crowd.”
